The storyline: "one in four college leaders said their institutions don't plan to offer remote or virtual class options by 2025. But 63% of students said they preferred fully online classes or classes that blend in-person and remote learning." Now note that this means 75% of colleges will continue with online learning, so the two sides don't really "diverge" in their views. I don't know why the author chooses to spin it into a story about conflict with quotes like "A fully online model doesn't make sense for a brick-and-mortar university." The full survey is available from Anthology (recently merged with Blackboard) but it's behind a spamwall.
